Crazy Fun!

Jacuzzi Vineyards Wedding Videographer – Jenna & Walker

Jenna & Walker’s wedding was awesome from start to finish! It was great working with one of my favorite wedding Event Designers, Stephanie from Cole Drake Events. I love working with them, they make everything so easy, and they always bring a great team of vendors together. I filmed Jenna & Walker’s wedding at the gorgeous Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma Valley. This venue has stellar views, gorgeous vineyards, and it feels like it was plucked right out of Tuscany.
Jenna & Walker were so great to work with, and I just loved seeing the great love that their family has. There were so many great moments from this wedding, but what sticks with me is how Jenna wanted to keep spinning in her wedding dress! For such a fun couple, I chose a fun song for their highlight film. 😉

Griffith Woods Wedding Videographer: Kris & Kami

There is nothing I love more when filming weddings, than seeing each couple’s love for each other. I can see it in the glances they give each other, or the way they hold each other’s hands. I loved seeing Kris & Kami interact with each other; they are such a sweet and wonderful couple. I will never forget Kami’s excitement throughout the whole day, she was such a joy to be with.

This whole day such awesome from start to finish. Travis was the wedding photographer, and we always have a great time working together. Kris & Kami got married at the very secluded Griffith Woods in Santa Rosa. This place is amazing! It is a perfect setting for a wedding in the woods. So many great details to mention: Kami put a Captain America shield into their wedding cake, since that’s Kris’ favorite superhero. They had cupcakes with little bits of bacon on top, super yummy! They also rented a vintage VW bus from Das-Bus as their photobooth! Everything together made for an amazing wedding for an amazing couple.

Simple Tips for Every Bride & Groom to Have The Best Wedding Video

These are my simple tips for every bride and groom to have the best wedding video possible. I’m a strong believer that video is equally as important as getting photos; and it’s not surprising that the regret that most couples have after their wedding day was not hiring a videographer. Thankfully more and more couples are incorporating videography into their budgets; so I’d like to offer some advice to help you get the best wedding video possible. Side note: these tips will also benefit your photographer too.

1) Get ready in a room with lots of space and lots of natural light

Every wedding day begins with a time of “getting ready” or “prep shots.” Personally, I love this time of the day, because we’re getting to know our brides and grooms a little more as we chat and start filming; this is also when I love to get some beauty shots of the brides. To get the best shots, we need some space to move around you, and we need lots of natural light. Bathrooms are typically small, messy and have little or no natural light. Artificial lights are usually casting a warm orange light from above, which makes skin look yellowish and creates unpleasant shadows under your eyes and nose.
